Gant chart

Gant chart. By pushing this button you can edit the dates in user-friendly graphic interface. This mode can be called for selected elements with date. It can be “Collections” from collection reference guide and from same-named block that on the other hand can be available by nomenclature, collection and component. And of course the date is available also for component. To call the mode firstly you should select the elements are to be edited. If there are no selected elements the error message will appear. If the test is passed the following screen will be displayed:

At the left part you can see the list of selected elements where you should set the beginning date and finish date, as well as the total duration period in days (it doesn’t depend on set scale) . At the right part you can see the displaying of these dates on time scale.

The time scale can be different. On the below picture you can see the days. The desirable scale you can set with buttons located in the top left corner. The editing is performed by transfer of right and/or left limit of date range, by drag-and-drop to the necessary date on the scale, or by entering the day number in the field “Duration”.

It should be noted if the date was not set for any elements, the current date will be assigned, but the dates will be saved only for the elements have been edited. To save changes please push the button .

Group of buttons  changes the visibility range of right and left diagram parts. The left button reduces the left part, the right button minimizes the right part, the middle button allocates them on the display evenly. In addition, the relative position of the right and left parts can be adjusted by manual just to move them relative to each other.

The button   is located next to the number, allows to call and to edit the details of component or collection.

The command  allows downloading to the diagram the child information blocks for the current element. It can be the blocks “Components”, “Collections”, “Dependencies”. You can perform the same operations for newly loaded elements. By doing so you can display all information blocks connected with the current element, without any limits for nesting levels, and edit their values.

The color on the diagram depends on the status of the element:

Grey – “No status”

Blue – “Preparation”

Yellow – “In progress”

Green – “Finished”

Red – “Cancelled”

The command allows printing the diagram.

Important notice – any changes in the diagram can be saved only by pushing the button “Save”.
